Info

Edinburgh singer songwriter, Alex Cornish, brings his four piece band and a string quartet to Cab Voltaire. His bedroom recorded album was released at the end of 2007 to an amazing reception, sessions for BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and XFM Scotland followed, as well as being the Sunday Times 'hottest download of the week'. Dermot O' Leary declared him a 'genius', Tom Robinson asked 'why Alex Cornish isn’t signed to a major label and being flown around the world in a big jumbo jet drinking champagne is beyond me'. If you haven’t heard his music yet think Radiohead meets Van Morrison Astral Weeks meets Rufus Wainwright meets Coldplay, all with a small orchestra on top. This date will be a warm up for some festivals in the summer and another UK headline tour. Not to be missed.
