
Emma-Lee Moss, known by her stage name of Emmy the Great, is a 25 year-old London based singer-songwriter. Moss was born in Hong Kong, and as a child she emigrated with her family to London. A proponent and member of the London anti-folk scene, she has collaborated with several other artists, the most recent being Lightspeed Champion. She has supported Martha Wainwright, Mystery Jets, Tilly and the Wall, Jamie T, Euros Childs and Kimya Dawson, amongst others and is currently supporting Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. She has played numerous festivals including the Truck Festival, Green Man Festival and the Latitude Festival, and she played at the inaugural Sŵn Festival in Cardiff in 2007. Her debut album, First Love, is expected to be released in early 2009. "We Almost Had a Baby" is the first single from the new album and will be released on November 10th. In the same month it was announced that she would be releasing her debut album "First Love" in Febuary 2009.
