Split joins Cab's Freshers Week madness with a special set from DC Breaks.
DC Breaks (DJ Samurai & DJ Kryptik) first teamed up with Andy C's Ram Records in 2005, signing several tracks to Frequency Recordings, including their biggest release to date 'Pickett Line', which has since received swathes of Radio One support from the likes of Pete Tong (’One of my favourite Drum & Bass tunes of the year’), Zane Lowe & Annie Mac, and then ‘Flashback’ which settled into the Radio One ‘Hottest Records’ Podcast for the entire Summer. Their music has long been a favourite of DJs across the globe including Andy C, DJ Marky, Chase & Status, High Contrast & London Elektricity.
The duo have spent years crafting their live package, DJing across 6 decks and two mixers, and they are rapidly becoming one of the most exciting acts on the effervescent Drum & Bass scene.
Split is Edinburgh's original weekly free-entry homage to all things bass. Breaks, techno, electro, drum & bass, dubstep and jungle are the mainstays here, spun by a selection of DJs drawn from a whopping 40+ pool of residents.

A BIT ABOUT SPLIT
Split is Edinburgh's original weekly free drum'n'bass, breaks, techno, electro, dubstep and jungle night.
Running for over six years, Split always strives to bring clubbers a flavour of some of Edinburgh andScotland's finest clubs, and always for free.
Each week, Split presents a selection of DJs drawn from a vast pool of residents including Believe, Atomic, Dave Lowe, Beast, Mr Pyz, Aesthetics, Ingen, Digital Playboy, DD and Dan Bland, along with guests DJs from an array of club nights such as Bass Syndicate, Big N Bashy, Kapital, Pangea, Touchbass, Soloid Steel, Coalition, Compakt, Dirt, Switch, Jungle Nation, Underground Sol'u'shn and Symbiosis.
