Cabaret Voltaire presents..
A performance of Prefab Sprout’s indie-pop classic second album Steve McQueen, played in full from Start to End to celebrate its 40th Anniversary, featuring some of Scotland’s leading musicians.
Following a sold out celebration of Joni Mitchell last January, and multiple sellout shows performing albums by acts such as John Martyn, Carole King, Van Morrison, Cocteau Twins, Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead, David Bowie and many more, Start to End return to cover cult favourite Prefab Sprout with their 1985 album Steve McQueen. Featuring some of Scotland’s most in-demand artists and session musicians, Start to End are not a tribute band but instead strive to honour beloved albums by replicating them sound-for-sound and showing a deep love for the album as a work of art.

Cabaret Voltaire is one of Scotland’s most iconic and historic music venues. Once part of Edinburgh’s underground vault systems, now a subterranean place of dancing. Over the years we’ve hosted some of the biggest names in the electronic music scene and fostered some of Edinburgh’s most successful talent.
